2021-3-7, New Haven Hiking Club Hike, Mendell's Folly, Bethany, CT

I was part of a New Haven Hiking Club hike on 2021-3-7 hike in and around Mendell's Folly Preserve in Bethany, CT.  Mendell's Folly trails are maintained by Bethany Land Trust volunteers.  Here's a link to a display of our route as recorded by my GPS receiver: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/35346938 .

Here's a static screenshot showing our route.

Here are some pictures taken by Tom Ebersold, our leader.

Doubly dabbled.

At mile 6.49 on the hike, just below the Beaver Dam,

I recorded one blowdown I saw.

The blowdown is at the flag, at the intersection of a red-blazed trail and a yellow-blazed trail.
